Planet Dive
It's 7:30 am, Wilson and I should be heading to his office and we were running late! Later, I found out that we won't have to. So I suggested that we follow our badminton group to Anilao, Batangas. Thankfully, they were only half way and King Arthur said we can follow- reservations and stuff like that, you know... At around 8:3 am,  we were all set and ready to go. It took us only two and a half hour to get to Anilao, thanks to my cousin's, Julius Ceasar, detailed instruction on how to get there fast! By 11 am, we had a taste of fresh air and it's beach. What a delight to see fishes just a few steps from the shore. And more big colorful fishes out there in the ocean. For seven hunderd bucks per pax, lunch buffet and snorkeling gadgets were inlcusive, diving gear optional. The only flaw was the road itself, well, it's the Philippines. But the marine life is enough compensation for the bumpy road getting there. We have taken few sample pics of what's there to see...

Wilson & I went to Laiya Coco Grove in Laiya, Batangas last May 1-2, 2004. We left our place around 5:30am got stuck in traffic and arrived at the haven around 11:30am. Upon reaching the place, we were amused by the sight it offered. Tree houses were everywhere and the beach is spectacular. Below are some pictures taken from the resort.

We left Laiya, Batangas around three in the afternoon. We proceeded to the Boardwalk, Reclamation Area in time to watch the sunset and at the same time visited The Shrine of Jesus for the Thanksgiving in celebration of my 28th birthday. Dinner afterwards with Wilson's family at the Seafood Wharf, Army Navy Club!
