 How We Met
I am a 26 year old eventologist of Themes
'n' Events while Wilson is a 30 year old general manager. We first met in the chatroom and exchanged our numbers
via the net last June of 2001. We chatted once or twice but we didn't get the chance to see each other in person
until six months after, last January 18, 2002. The very next day, we had the longest lunch at Mr. Beans Restaurant
in Greenhills which lasted for four hours. We jive along really well that we would see each other almost everyday...
The Proposal
It was mid of October 2002, we had our
dinner with some of my friends in Tagaytay. We decided to go to Manila Peninsula Hotel after. While having our
dessert, he simply asked me- "When do you want to get married?". No bended-knees, No pop-up question.
He just assumed that I'll agree, and I did : ) We started planning for our January 26, 2003 engagement
party to formally announce to our family, relatives and friends regarding our plan to get married. In the midst
of our preparation, around December of 2002, he finally gave me a ring as a Christmas gift and have asked the
"will-you-marry-me?" question! Whew!
