The Ceremony
In chinese custom & tradition,
the ceremony must start on time. The bride-to-be has to be ushered backward inside the ceremony room where her
family and his fiance's family are seated facing each other. The one who will usher her must be a close-relative of hers and
she should have a good life. It is told that the bride-to-be will have a good life too so you really have to choose that person
carefully and wisely. After the exchange of flowers, rings and watches, the tea is served. It is also at this time that the
family members on both side are introduced to the couple. Then single women are given flowers and goodies to take home. Usually
after the tea ceremony, the food will be served.
